Agsmart's existing Infrastructure Services include hosting services utilizing hardware infrastructure, data integration tools and security and registration software.
Hardware/Software Infrastructure
Agsmart utilises hardware infrastructure that allows flexibility, scalability, constant accessibility, and high availability failover and disaster recovery. Agsmart uses IBM, Dell and Watchguard hardware infrastructure.
Security and Registration
Web security issues are extremely important priorities for Agsmart service provision. Agsmart utilises firewall protection (Watchguard Firebox) and a Watchguard Virtual Private Network (VPN) for "back end" connectivity. Consultation and ongoing security audits are carried out with a third-party security advisor.
User Security and Registration services are provided by database based authentication services.
Hosting
Agsmart hosting services are located in a state of the art Hosting Data Centre in Melbourne. The Centre provides the physical environment necessary to keep Agsmart servers up and running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. These world-class facilities are custom designed with raised floors, HVAC temperature control systems with separate cooling zones, and seismically braced racks. There are a wide range of physical security features in the Centre, which include state-of-the-art smoke detection and fire suppression systems, motion sensors, and manned 24x7 secured access, as well as video camera surveillance and security breach alarms.
Within these facilities, Agsmart is capable of delivering the highest levels of reliability through a number of redundant subsystems, such as multiple fibre cable coming into the Centre from multiple sources, fully redundant power on the premises, and multiple backup generators.
Technology Management
Agsmart manages the technology that delivers a reliable solution to our clients. We also assist our clients in providing in providing to Agsmart their data for publishing on the appopriate website. Agsmart provides documentation, support and tools that enable effective data transfer from client back-end systems for publication on the web.
Help Desk
Help desk support is available via phone and e-mail contact five days per week from 8.30am to 5.30pm AEST. This includes support for authorized user registration via phone or fax.
